CNC Machining
Two Haas vertical mills plus CNC and manual turning for shafts, rolls, hubs, sprockets and bearing pads.
Holt, Florida · Since 1994
ASM Equipment is a 33,750 SF heavy machine and fabrication shop on I-10 in the Florida Panhandle. We engineer, machine, weld, blast and paint equipment for sawmills, data centers and industrial plants, from a single replacement shaft to a complete conveyor line.
Replacement parts
Sprockets, shafts, pins, bushings, drive packages and wear parts, made to print or matched to the original. ASM still holds the drawings and part details behind decades of Advanced Sawmill Machinery equipment, so reorders start from the right print.

Precision CNC machining
Sprockets, hubs, bearing pads and long frames are fixtured and machined in house on our Haas CNC mills, with the VF-10 handling parts up to 120 inches long in one setup.
Because machining, fabrication and paint all happen in our building, a part goes from saw to finished assembly without waiting on an outside shop.

Who we build for
Thirty years of building heavy sawmill machinery taught us tight tolerances, rugged welds and fast turnarounds. The same shop now builds for mission-critical construction and industrial plants throughout the Southeast.

Two Haas vertical mills plus CNC and manual turning for shafts, rolls, hubs, sprockets and bearing pads.

Structural frames, skids, platforms and machine bases handled under seven overhead cranes, with 13 welding stations on the floor.

Our burn table cuts brackets, guards and flanges in house, so they never wait on an outside burn shop.

Our own engineers model the part, detail it for the floor and can reverse-engineer a worn original.

Breakdown parts, rebuilt assemblies and machine upgrades that put worn but solid equipment back in service.

Abrasive blasting and industrial coatings on site, so finished parts leave ready to install.
How a job moves
Most buyers juggle an engineer, a machine shop, a fabricator, a coatings vendor and an installer. Here it is one purchase order.
Chain conveyors
ASM builds complete chain conveyors in house: trough and frame fabrication, machined head and tail shafts, sprockets, take-ups, drives and guarding, all painted and assembled before they leave Holt.

Safety products
We design and fabricate safety steel fitted to your machines and your plant, painted high-visibility and ready to bolt in.

Turnkey with our sister company
ASM and its sister company, Linco, LLC, are two companies with one point of accountability. From supply chain to installation, every step is handled directly to speed up delivery to you: procure, build, ship and install, all in-house without third-party handoffs.

Guiding principles
Faith, honesty and respect for every person on the floor come first. Our eleven guiding principles shape how we treat customers, quote work and build it.
Recent work

Ownership
ASM began in 1994 as Advanced Sawmill Machinery, a precision machine shop that kept Southern sawmills running. In 2026 the shop became ASM Equipment, LLC under Bryan Lindsey, P.E., whose company Linco has engineered and installed heavy equipment for mills and plants since 2008.
The people, the machines and the standards stayed. What changed is reach: ASM now pairs its shop with Linco's engineering and field crews, so one team can design, build and install the work.

We'll come back with a price and a ship date.
