About ASM
A sawmill shop with thirty years behind it.
Three decades of sawmill machinery, now under new ownership as ASM Equipment, LLC.
Our history
Customer-driven since 1994.
Advanced Sawmill Machinery opened in Holt, Florida, in 1994 as a large-capacity precision machine shop with one goal: keep sawmills running. Over three decades the shop designed carriages, canters, trimmers, tilt hoists and sharp chain systems, and rebuilt equipment for softwood and hardwood operations across the South.
In July 2026 the shop's assets and team became ASM Equipment, LLC. The machines, the experienced crew and the sawmill know-how carried over. The new company adds engineering leadership, investment in the shop, and a sister company that installs what we build.

Leadership
Bryan Lindsey, P.E.
President
Bryan is a licensed professional engineer and the founder of Linco, LLC, an industrial engineering and construction company that has handled difficult mill upgrades, shutdowns and greenfield installations for wood products plants across the Southeast since 2008.
He bought ASM so customers could get engineering, fabrication and installation from one accountable team, and so a shop with three decades of craftsmanship would keep building for the next thirty.

Guiding principles
How we work.
The same values that built Linco now run the ASM shop floor, from how we answer the phone to how we sign off a finished part.
Safety & quality
Safe work is good work.
Working safely is a condition of employment at ASM. That means guarded machines, clear aisles, proper rigging under every crane lift, and the right PPE for every task.
Quality follows the same discipline: we build to the approved drawing, measure what matters, and fix problems in the shop instead of in the field.
- Rigging & liftingPlanned crane lifts with inspected rigging
- Machine safetyGuarding and lockout/tagout on every machine
- InspectionDimensional checks against the drawing before parts ship
- HousekeepingMarked aisles and a clean, organized floor
